About Us
Leeds has had a rich history with Formula Student. Formed in 1996, it became the first UK university to take part in the competition back in 1997 by competing in the American league, before FSUK had even formed. Since then we have raced around the world including Australia, Japan and Italy. The team is now working on developing both an IC and EV car for the competition in 2023.
Our team strides to be one of the top Formula student teams in the UK. We use our engineering knowledge to design and manufacture excellent cars. We implement design processes from industry to ensure our cars are of the highest quality!
