The F25 Team
For the FSUK 2025 Competition, Leeds Gryphon Racing will be competing in three different classes; Internal Combustion (IC), Electric Vehicle (EV) and Autonomous (AI). Each class is managed by a team principal, with each of the sub-teams having their respective team leads, all of whom ensure that the development of the car progresses as planned. Additionally, Leeds Gryphon Racing also have an operations team that looks after the smooth running of the organisation, involving but not limited to sponsorships, recruitment, media outreach as well as the managment of static events for competition.
Team Principals
This year, as the team is developing three cars simultaneously, we have three leaders, each focusing on one car.
Technical Directors
Our technical directors are some of our most experienced team members, who aid the whole team, lending their experience on design and manufacturing. Our technical directors this year have returned from a year in industry and will be implementing industry-level design processes and offering industry-level support to the team.
IC Sub-Team Leads
Internal Combustion will be the flagship car for the team this year. Our IC team is split into five sub teams, each focusing on specific aspects of the car, and with the main target of making strong improvements on last year's car to provide a well-engineered and reliable package.
EV Sub-Team Leads
Our EV team is split into several sub teams, each focusing on specific aspects of the car. With the work done in previous years, the EV team is now ready to build and compete LGR's first EV car.
AI specific Sub Team Leads
Our AI team is split into several sub teams, each focusing on specific aspects of the autonomous car. With the work done in previous years, the AI team are ready to enter for the second time the competition in Silverstone and build on their progress from last year.
Operations Team
Our operations team looks after the day-to day running of the team, as well as our sponsors, events and media outreach. Additionally, our business team is responsible for curating the Business Presentation Plans to compete in the IC, EV and AI static events.
Faculty Support
As a team we are indebted to the support we receive from our faculty, aiding us in both technical areas and management.
